Bath and Body Works- Celebration Line 2016

I recently picked up some of the body care from the new Celebration body care line at Bath and Body Works. Before even trying out anything from this line, I was instantly drawn in by the packaging. It is glamorous, glittery, girly- absolute perfection! This line is very different than anything else in my Bath and Body Works collection. First of all, the shape of the body lotions are different than the regular packaging of the lotion. I do not know if Bath and Body works is shifting towards changing the bottles again from what they are now or if this is just for the celebration line. I am in love with the shimmering packaging, it just screams CELEBRATE. I am absolutely thrilled with everything about this line: the packaging, design, and the fragrances.

I picked up a body cream and body lotion of each scent at the $3.75 sale, and I used a $10 off $30 coupon- making them $2.50 each, A STEAL!!

First, I will talk about what may be the most popular in this line- Champagne Toast. I am a huge fan of the Champagne Toast candle, so I had high hopes for the body care line. I was not disappointed! This is perfect for the holiday season and to wear year-round.  If you can only get one thing from this line, I would suggest Champagne Toast. This sweet and fruity scent will give you reason to celebrate!

” Cheers to a sparkling blend of pink champagne, golden nectarine, and sugared musk”

Top Notes: Vintage Champagne, Sparkling Tangerine

Mid Notes: Red Hibiscus, White Nectarine, Black Currant Chambord, Juicy Passionfruit

Dry Notes: Plum Wood, Sugared Musk, Vanilla Extract

The next scent I reached for was Pink Confetti. I threw this in my basket without thinking twice or even smelling it- I mean, just look at this packaging! Nothing beats pink glitter. Once I put this on my skin, I realized it smelled like another BBW lotion I love, Strawberry Bourbon and Vanilla. I absolutely loved Strawberry Bourbon, so I was happy that this scent was similar. I absolutely love this one for the pretty pink packaging and the stand-out strawberry fragrance.

“Celebrate with a fresh blend of red raspberry, juicy pear, and crystal jasmine”

Top Notes: Cassis leaves, William Pear, Pink Strawberry

Mid Notes: Apricot Nectar, Sparkling Jasmine, Peony Petals

Dry Notes: Creamy Vanilla, Marshmallow, Bourbon Woods, Crystallized Musk

Next up is Wrapped in Sugar. This is a very comforting scent, it reminds me a little of Beach Nights from the summer line. The main scents that stand out to me are marshmallow and vanilla, with a tiny hint of coconut.

“Wrap yourself in a warm blend of coconut martini, marshmallow musk, and sheer amber”

Top Notes: Sparkling Mandarin, Touch of Apple, Coconut Cosmo Martini Accord

Mid Notes: Heliotrope, Sheer Jasmine, Toasted Coconut Flakes

Dry Notes: Marshmallow Musk, Amber, Warm Woods

Finally, we have the beautiful Cocktail Dress- a beautiful floral fragrance. My first thought when I put this on was that it smells expensive! I am not usually a huge fan of floral because they are often way too strong, but I think this one is perfect. I did NOT expect to love this one when I read “crystal peonies”, but they really did an amazing job with this one. I feel like the scent got better and better the longer it was on my skin.

“Party on with a blend of sparkling mandarin, peony petals, and velvet musk”

Top Notes: Crisp Pomegranate, Osmanthus, Sparkling Mandarin

Mid Notes: Peony Petals, Lily of the Valley, Juicy Pear

Dry Notes: Sleek Amber Wood, Skin Musk, Sheer Cedarwood

Let me know what you think of the celebrate line. What did you like/ not like? What products are you dying to try?

  1. These look great! I will have to try them when I see you. Also, strawberry bourbon sounds like one I might like, do they still sell it?
Also I had another favorite bbw which had peony in it, I’ll have to try the cocktail dress one. Maybe it will be similar 🙏🏼
